The Beacon Society is a new community of philanthropic leaders whose generosity ensures NCA’s work continues and is reserved for individuals who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more.
How does the Beacon Society work?
Membership is renewed annually and represents a members’ dedication to ensuring children have access to the compassionate care, advocacy, healing, and justice they deserve. Members will enjoy special opportunities, including:
The Beacon Breakfast, an annual gathering created especially for Beacon Society members to hear about NCA's impact and provide direction for our future vision
Recognition opportunities honoring our members’ leadership and the difference their generosity makes
Exclusive impact stories and behind-the-scenes updates connecting members more closely to the children you are helping
Priority access to purchase Dine to Shine tickets before they become available to the public

If you’re sitting in that room, staring at the floor, counting the minutes
wondering if talking about it, will ever make it hurt less
this is for you
for the child who had to grow up too soon
for the adult still carrying things
for anyone learning
that surviving and healing are not the same
I know some days it feels like you’re moving backwards
like the memories are too heavy
like the hurt will always have a home inside you
but healing isn’t forgetting
it isn’t pretending
sometimes healing is simply showing up
telling the truth
letting yourself be seen
and that takes more courage
than most people will ever understand
the story does not end with what happened to you
the story keeps going
you deserve to see
how beautiful your next chapter can be
