Our Services
Comprehensive Support Services for Children and Families
Nashville Children’s Alliance brings together the professionals needed to support children and families facing serious abuse, guiding cases through investigation while providing a path toward healing.
Our Support Process
-
Nashville Children’s Alliance works with law enforcement and child protective services to review reports of suspected child abuse, helping ensure each case receives a coordinated and timely response.
-
Through a collaborative, ongoing team approach, Nashville Children’s Alliance brings together key agency partners to coordinate investigations, share information, and support decisions that keep the child’s well-being at the center.
-
Children participate in a carefully structured, developmentally appropriate interview conducted by a trained forensic interviewer in a safe, child-focused setting. The interview is observed and recorded by investigative partners to support the case.
-
Family Advocates walk alongside children and caregivers throughout the process, helping them understand next steps, connect to resources, and access ongoing support during a difficult time.
-
Our clinical team provides trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy for children and their non-offending caregivers at no cost. Services are individualized to support healing and emotional recovery.
-
Support continues throughout the healing journey through our therapy, advocacy, and investigative services. Even after a case concludes, families can continue accessing resources and support as they move forward.
Report Suspected Abuse
Every adult in Tennessee is a mandated reporter. You do not need to have facts or proof to make a report, just suspicion.
Tennessee Child Abuse Hotline: 1-877-237-0004 (24/7)
Emergency: Call 911 if a child is in immediate danger
If you are unsure, report anyway. Trained professionals will assess the concern. Mandated reporters are required by law to report suspicions of abuse.
